Looks like we'll see a new game from CyberConnect2 soon

Japanese publisher Bandai Namco has registered a new trademark for the Naruto series. Ultimate Ninja Storm Connection has appeared on the website of The European Union Intellectual Property Office, which probably means the imminent announcement of a new game in this series of fighting games, which is being developed by the studio CyberConnect2.

So far, the publisher has yet to provide any information about the upcoming title. Still, we have already seen a few games in this universe in which names there was no number: Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations in 2012 and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution in 2014. Given the gradual transition of developers to new consoles, we may expect a full-fledged next-gen.

Yesterday, the nominees for The Game Awards 2022 became known. The show will take place on December 8, and in addition to awarding the winners, more than 50 new games will be presented, among which there may be a new game from CyberConnect2.
