Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Reveals New Character – Toph
Can't stop the rock.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is back with a whole new character. This time it's Toph, the iconic earth-bender, which means almost every member of the original gang in the first show is now playable, just have to wait a bit to see Sokka.

As for Toph, this is just about everything you could realistically expect from the character. Lots of high impact moves with rocks being involved in pretty much all of them, but also some interesting options for space control.

Killer Instinct players will immediately notice Aganos style stone pillar that creates an obstacle for Toph's opponents. Not only that, but she can use another move to essentially slide enemies towards her.

Many have already said that this game looks more in-line with older, more over-the-top anime fighters, and it certainly seems to be the case here, because given the options they show off in the trailer, she doesn't seem limited to just one rigid archetype. You have fast attacks, decent range, projectiles and pillars that cover a good chunk of the screen, but also a way to literally control your opponent's movement.

It's not clear if she will be playable at the upcoming closed alpha test, but if so, she should be a lot of fun for the combo fiends out there to figure out.
