Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game has announced a delay for players looking to access the game on Xbox. The fighting game, which releases today, will instead be available on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
However, the announcement also revealed that the Nintendo Switch version will only be available as the Standard Edition at launch, with fans unable to purchase the Deluxe Edition initially.
In a statement posted on X, the developers said that, due to unforeseen circumstances on their backend, the Xbox version will not be released until September 3, more than a month after the game's launch.
The game has so far been positively received, with its betas proving to be a huge success, but this is sure to leave a sour taste in the mouths of Xbox and Switch players who wanted to join the global community at launch.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will release on July 23 with 12 playable characters and an additional five planned throughout its first year.
