Atif Responds To Difficult Tekken 8 Year
He was so close to having the best 2024

Make no mistake, Atif, the amazing Pakistani player for Tekken 8 has had an amazing year by every possible metric. But, he could have had a record-breaking year if some things had gone his way.

Atif won CEO 2024, FV Major, and Havoc. However, he also found himself so close in other tournaments including Evo 2024, where he took second place to Arslan Ash, Esports World Cup where he lost to ULSAN and now the Tekken World Tour Finals where he lost to Rangchu.

Atif, who won the TWT in 2022, was looking for a second win, but was stopped by Rangchu's Kuma, and he took to social media to explain his frustration.

He wrote, "I received a lot of messages, and I don't want to talk to anyone, and it seems like I don't have any courage left. I am fed up with the 2nd position already. Those players who have beaten me in the finals are really deserving ones, and I respect them a lot! Also, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who supported me. Sadly, I couldn't live to their expectations. But, I will continue to work hard. See you in the next event!"

There was a lot of support in his responses as there should be considering how amazing a season he has had.

2024 might well be over for major Tekken tournaments, but you can be sure that Atif will be back even stronger in 2025.
