Current leader of Tekken World Tour shares his opinion on Pakistani scene

The current leader of the Tekken World Tour and number one in our rankings, Arslan "Arslan Ash" Siddique, shared his opinion on the Pakistani scene. He highlights the problem of local players struggling to perform abroad in big events.

Arslan Ash thinks of several reasons:

  • International playstyles might be difficult to understand.
  • Players lack experience.
  • The pressure of big stages may get them.

He wishes for more events in Pakistan with international players or more possibilities for Pakistani players to travel abroad.

It is worth remembering that at least three players from Pakistan were denied visas to the Phillippines and thus couldn't compete in REV Major. While some community members think of stage pressure and lack of experience in big matches, Vincent "Super Akouma" Homan pointed that adapting to different playstyles is not a problem exclusive to one region:

This might be a complex problem for the region, and it is good that the face of the Tekken scene in Pakistan raises such questions and thinks of how to improve his local scene. What do you think about it? Share your opinions in the comments.
