The Pakistani champion has now joined one of Saudi Arabia's fastest growing esports teams
Arslan Siddique, better known as Arslan Ash, has announced his new team. The Pakistani player, who rose to prominence in 2018, left his former team, FATEesports, in January and has been without an official team sponsor since then.
In an announcement on his Twitter page, Arslan said that he would be joining Twisted Minds, a team formed in 2021 from Saudi Arabia, and he will be one of their fighting game representatives.
Twisted Minds, on their part, did a really nice reveal video with Arslan's animated form and welcomed him to the team.
Twisted Minds is another indication of the huge push from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into the esports sphere, and they already have teams in games like Rainbow Six, PUBG, Valorant, and Rocket League. Arslan will be their first representative from the FGC, and there is reason to believe that he will not be the last. With 2023 being speculated as the year of the FGC, it will be interesting to see how traditional esports teams react and if we will see even more players from the FGC on their rosters.
Arslan Ash is still sponsored by Red Bull Gaming and is the founder of Ashes Gaming in Pakistan.
