Arc System Works Esports has officially announced a three-month ban for four top players.
The organization made this known in a statement released on social media. The ban applies to Guilty Gear Strive players who were found to be in violation of the ASW Code of Conduct. According to the statement, the actions of these players were deemed detrimental to the ASW brand, and the suspension will apply to all ASW-sanctioned tournaments.
The affected players are Bunny, RedIAmNot, Tiger_Pop, and UMISHO.
The organizers also specified that the suspension will cover the following tournaments:
-
Headstomper 2025
-
Battle Arena Melbourne 15
-
CEO 2025
-
Hessen Crash XXII
-
Ragnarok 2025
-
The Mix-Up 2025
-
Only the Best 2025
-
Boston Blue Beat: Beach Episode - Camp Out
-
EVO 2025
-
Crossover 2025
-
VSFighting XIII
ASW added that for any of these tournaments that have already concluded, any points earned toward the AWT Finals will be forfeited.
Interestingly, this ban does not cover Combo Breaker 2025, which UMISHO won. This could mean that the points earned from that tournament will still count and may play a deciding role in qualification for the AWT Finals later in the year.
