Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has revealed another new character to the roster - the Angry Beavers. Dagget and Norbert from the classic 90s cartoon join the fray as a unique duo fighter.
The Angry Beavers are brand new to the All-Star Brawl series. Their main mechanic is the ability to tag in and out with each other during combat. This lets players utilize Dagget's speedy attacks and combo potential or Norbert's superior range and power as needed.
Both beavers have their unique movesets. They will call in the other beaver for an assist move when using their side special or neutral special attacks. For example, Dagget's side special brings Norbert to blast opponents from afar. You can even tag out in the middle of these assist attacks to continue combos in tricky ways.
However, there is some risk to the tag team strategy. If a tagged-in beaver gets hit during an assist, they will take damage and be unable to tag back out for a few seconds. So you have to be careful when calling in your partner.
While the beavers are stronger together thanks to their combo potential, both are also viable solo fighters. Dagget relies on speed and constant attacks, while Norbert focuses on controlling space with his range and power.
Fans of the classic Nicktoons duo will surely enjoy mastering the tag team antics of the Angry Beavers. Their unique assists and on-the-fly character swapping open up creative new gameplay opportunities for players ready to embrace the chaos.
