A.K.I.'s VA's Plea For Coaching Leads to This Wholesome Interaction

When it comes to fighting games, the affinity of a voice actor or actress to the game usually ends in the recording booth. Once they have done their jobs, they tend to just move on to something else. 

With Street Fighter 6, however, we are seeing some of the voice actors take an interest in the game. For instance, Aleks Le, the voice of Luke has ingratiated himself with the community, and it seems another VA is about to do the same. 

Faye Mata who voices A.K.I. in Street Fighter 6 has announced that she wants to learn the game and use her character to get into SF6.

The VA took to Twitter to ask for some help from the FGC as she is looking for someone to coach her and teach the basics of the game.

From the looks of it, A.K.I. is going to be a techhnical character that might take some getting used to and this will require a very good coach to take on the task. 

She also asked for some recommendations for locals that she could go to and try her hand out in the competitive scene. 

For the most part, she was advised to work with MonoPR who was arguably the best F.A.N.G player in the world and who has already indicated interest in maining A.K.I. in Street Fighter 6. However, the interaction that was most memorable was with Sajam.

Sajam is a great content creator, commentator, and guide for fighting games in general, and when he offered to help, people flooded the comments to thank him for all the great things he had done for them. This was a bit of a troll and Faye was a good sport and went along with it, even posting a video where she asked if he would loan her a bugatti. 

Sajam responded with a video of his own, taking credit for some of the good stuff and promising to loan her the Bugatti once he got it back.

(P.S. As far as we know, Sajam does not own a Bugatti.)

Even Jiyuna chimed in saying that this was a great content opportunity and was something that a pro player could take advantage of to create something perhaps a little different from the norm.
