It seems like the topic of closing arcades won't slow down just yet. Recently, A-Cho arcade in Kyoto announced that they will be closing their doors. This in itself is tragic news for the FGC, the iconic spot served as a host for many memorable fighting game tournaments, but that's not all.

Another reason people were so fond of A-Cho is their YouTube channel, which houses a collection of many high level matches and tournaments. Sadly, it seems like someone in charge of A-Cho has decided that those channels should also be shut down.

It's not clear why this decision was taken, but people now have until February to watch and archive the existing footage.
