2XKO Shares Their Plans for The Last Batch of Updates Going Forward

While people are already talking about 2XKO in past tense, the things are far from over. The latest weekend warmup wastes no time to acknowledge the circustances, but instead focuses on what's coming next.

As a reminder to those who might have missed the news or some of the details, the active development of 2XKO will end in December, every purchase made before August 20 will be refunded (no need to request it, if you spent money on the game it will come back), all characters will be unlocked, and all the skins will be bundled into one 40 dollar bundle. Naturally, the sale of in-game fake money will also be removed.

Moving onto the more specific changes, there's actually quite a lot, with multiple team members going in detail about the content and changes they're working on. If you want to get all the details, check out the post below.

The shorter version is that pretty much all facets of the game will be getting major updates.

Balance: Major focus on buffing defense in response to strong offense. The character balance mostly reached a good point aside from Senna, so instead the focus will be on allowing greater move diversity.

Characters: Lux and Samira are still on the way. Lux is meant to be very versatile and easy to pick up, while Samira is designed to be an immensely expressive character.

Stages: Two new stages, one in the dark and grim Shadow Isles, with the second one being in bright and regal Damacia.

Skins: There are still a few more skins coming. Demonic makeover for Teemo, Illaoi, and Warwick. Faerie themed skin for Lux. Good vs Evil skinline with Yasuo, Akali, Ahri, and Illaoi on team Sentinel vs Darius, Braun, Ekko, and Jinx on team Ruined. Finally, there will also be Halloween themed avatar items and stickers.

Lobbies: You will have an option for massive 39-player lobbies with voice chat (optional) on top of that.

Draggles also mentioned that The Climb will get a big update that is significant enough to keep it a secret, so single player enjoyers might get something nice here too.
