2XKO Fuse System Showcased By Riot

Riot published today a short video explaining some of the core mechanics to be found in their upcoming fighting Game 2XKO, formerly known as Project L. This one covers "Fuses" a modifier that applies to the team of characters selected.

Fuses enable certain abilities or allow for the chaining of abilities in the match. The showcased Fuses in the dev blog were:

• Double-Down: Allows the second character to use their super or ultimate after the point character uses their super.
• Freestyle: Allows players to tag between characters twice in a sequence.
• 2X Assist: Allows you to call two assist actions during one call.
• Fury: Gives a damage bonus when low on health.
