2XKO Accepting Applications For Playtests This Year

Riot's fighting game, 2XKO, formerly called Project L is gathering steam as players are excited to see what the game will look like when showcased at Evo Japan which will commence next weekend. 

Those who will be in Japan for Evo will have a chance to play the game if they follow certain conditions. 

The 2XKO to be showcased will be a new build of the game and will include the character, Illaoi, in the roster. It will also contain any new fixes that the developers have added since the last build.  

On top of that, it has been announced that there will be playtests for the rest of the year and interested parties who can't make Evo Japan, can sign  up for a chance to be chosen for the next playtest at a later date. 

Interested applicants should check out the Riot website for the Playtest application. 

The game currenly has five characters and speculation is rife as to who could join the cast. We do know that Jinx will come into play at some point. 

2XKO has no official release date, but is widely expected to come out sometime in 2025.
