Players and Coaches For Sajam's Slam Announced
The first one went so well, so it's only natural to have another

After a successful inaugural outing, the Sajam Slam returns for its second edition.

The tournament which pairs streamers who have limited experience with some fighting games with coaches within those fighting game niches to then play against one another in team and single tournaments, was a raging success for the first edition.

Coney, a former Smash Bros. player was the winner on that occasion and he won a free trip to Evo because of it. Team Joey Fury were also the winners of the team tournament last time around. It also enabled streamers to learn Tekken 8, a discipline they were not familiar with before.

The second Sajam Slam has been announced and will take place between the 6th and 19th of May 2024 with a week for learning the game, and a couple of days for a round robin tournament before the finals which will take place on the 19th.

The concept of the tournament is similar to what has been happening in Japan with the Reject Fight Night and Crazy Raccoon Cup which also has inexperienced players team up with seasoned professionals to take on one another. It has brought an unprecedented level of interest in Street Fighter 6 in Japan and it is hoped that the same could be achieved in North America.

A new Crazy Raccoon Cup will hold this May.

This edition of Sajam's Slam will feature the returning champion, Coney along with some new faces like FD Signifier and Esam. It'll also feature MYK, PhidX and KawaiiFaceMiles as coaches.
