Splash Shares His Mortal Kombat 1 Tier List

Fabian "Splash" Yuzefpolsky, an American Fighting Games competitive player, shared his opinion on the Mortal Kombat 1 game balance by making the tier list of both main characters and kameo fighters.

Splash thinks that the main characters are mostly balanced, and he puts 18 out of 24 characters in the S tier. In his opinion, it's harder to win a Major only by playing six characters: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, General Shao, Rain, Reptile, and Nitara.

However, the kameos are the difference makers: according to Splash, Kung Lao, Stryker, and Sareena work well with everyone, while Darrius, Motaro, Tremor and Shujinko are niche.
