The Pro Kompetition is back! After years of absence, NRSesports is back online with a new circuit for the best Mortal Kombat 1 players to participate. Here, you will find all the information you need to know to both play in and watch these regional and global events. You can also stay up to date with any changes to the Pro Kompetition rules via Mortal Kombat's official website.

Regional Leagues

Pro Kompetition is divided into three regions. These leagues have multiple offline and online competitions within it, each providing points to participating players for their league standings. Most players will advance to the finals through the Global Points Leaderboard, but there are spots up for grabs for regional leaders too.

Final Kombat Invitations

Based on players' regional Online and Global Offline tournament results, they will earn points towards their global standings. The 20 invitations for the final Kombat event will be awarded based on these standings, with the following allocation of invites:

  • 9 = Pro Kompetition Global Points Leaderboard
  • 4 = Interkontinental Kombat Regional Finals
  • 4 = Liga Latina Regional Finals
  • 2 = North American League Regional Finals
  • 1 = Last Chance Qualifier

Online Tournaments Details

You will find all the details for the upcoming online regional events on the Mortal Kombat 1 Pro Kompetition Start.gg page. The event is only for PlayStation 5 owners. Among the standard rules, there are also some other interesting details for the matches, especially with the introduction of Kameos.

  • Best of 5 matches, first to 2 games.
  • Online Connectivity: Wi-Fi is banned. Ethernet cable connections only. Players may be required to provide speed tests demonstrating no packet loss and low jitter to Tournament Organizers.
  • The losing Player of the preceding Match may choose to change Characters. The winning Player may choose to change their Kameo Character if the losing Player changes Character.
  • All characters already publicly released may be selected for Matches. If a new character is released, that character may only be selected if it is available at least fourteen (14) days prior to the first day of the Tournament.
