Brawlhalla at Combo Breaker 2023: A Terrifying Wrestler

The first day of Combo Breaker 2023 brought us exciting Brawlhalla matches. This tournament kind of fell out of the official esports schedule of this game — you know, with those mind-blowing prize pools. But it still gathered very (and I mean very-very) strong players.

AySurge started the Top 8 part with a super confident game — in fact, he just annihilated Klown Xero. Game 2 was much closer, but still, AySurge won to proceed to the Winners Final.

In the parallel brackets, StarrGrazer started with demonstrating the power of Tezca (oh, those grappler attacks!) But when ShadePrince won one game, StarrGrazer switched to Caspian and proved his skills with this Legend as well — including winning the match with a casual throw of a bomb.

In the Winners Final, AySurge had almost no chances. StarrGrazer took Tezca again and totally destroyed Asoth.

Meanwhile, in the Losers Brackets, Leviathan (with the nickname #1 BOCCHI THE ROCK FAN) had a pretty powerful run — he defeated three opponents playing only Xull. The Losers Final wasn’t that easy, though.

To face AySurge’s Azoth, Leviathan switched to Mako, Isaiah, and Magyar — and lost three games with those characters. AySurge proceeded to the Grand Final through the Losers side.

The match started super promising for AySurge — the player was at the bracket reset point and almost made a glorious comeback at the decisive stock. But StarrGrazer with his Tezca had different plans. In quite a style, he won three games in a row and the whole tournament.
