Akuma Guide Shows He'll Be Insane

Akuma is set to be released on the 22nd of May 2024, and Capcom have already released a detailed character guide for players who would want to pick him up as their main character in the game. 

The detailed guide goes over everything the player needs to know including some of his weaknesses, the biggest being his very low health. But this is to make up for the variety of options the character has including corner carry combos, freefrom offense, a command throw, and some pretty handy normals. 

It seems Capcom are really using Akuma to push the second season of the game to potential new players as they not only had a Japanese playtest where players got their hands on the character, but they also enlisted the help of notable FGC content creators including Maximilian Dood, Justin Wong, and Rooflemonger. 

They all released videos on the character much like they did when Street Fighter 6 came out last year, and there is a consensus that Akuma is going to be a top-tier character. There has also been more information released on the 2nd season of the game and it is all very exciting. 

Akuma will be playable by the end of the month, and will also come with some new features in the game's Battle Hub including one known as Giant Attack which details for haven't been released in full just yet.
